Caoimhe is a very sweet, social dog. She will run all day with gusto, or spend the day asleep by my feet without complaint. She truly just wants to be where her humans are! She gets along with dogs and cats, and is safe with chickens. She loves dog shows- being in the spotlight and having all eyes on her is one of her favorite things. 

Caoimhe is also extremely silly. She's very smart, but prefers to use her brain to steal things and seemingly prank other dogs, rather than to do training! She does love food and is very willing to work for treats, though. She is extremely kissy with people and dogs she loves, and also has a strong, occasionally dangerous wagging tail! Caoimhe has also done extensive amounts of work as a breed ambassador, frequently meeting up with people at dog shows or out and about to teach them about this wonderful breed. 

Structurally, Caoimhe is a well balanced dog. She is on the smaller side at 45 lbs, but has appropriate bone and substance for her frame. I would like to see slightly stronger pasterns with less turnout in her front feet, and her neck is set on slightly higher than I would prefer. However, her movement is excellent- effortless, with balanced reach and drive, and no lifting or wasted effort. Though she stands with some turnout in her front feet, she moves cleanly, tending towards single tracking with no turnout. She has a nice dark eye and a well proportioned head. Her coat is waterproof with a soft, dense undercoat. Overall, I think Caoimhe is an excellent example of the breed, and judges tend to agree!
